I've watched the Ted talk before and its an exercise in manipulation .. the tone of the voice, the way she attempts to gently guide/subvert the audience into a sympathetic blind alley .. I can tell from the language and techniques that she uses that it's all very deliberate and well planned, probably not even written by her. Her parents must be so proud .. she should be ashamed of herself!
