You'll notice some tendencies:

• A overwhelming sense of entitlement
• Insincerity
• Unwilling to understand how their actions hurt others

It's sad that the abuser was abused himself-- but it takes a conscious decision to deliberately and actively abuse another. It's sadder that the mother called the authorities but they did not prosecute. And what's sadder than that? Incest Bro is at considered (by Dr Phil) to be at high risk of offending. Why? Uh, not being held accountable (cough cough enabling cough) and because of his attitude of entitlement.

Think about it: this is unlikely an singular occurrence. There's probably all sorts of gross, touchy-feely siblings being creepers on family members, all across the world. Just because there's a bunch of 'em doesn't mean it's okay or socially permissive.

What's worse, is that these shitbags are enabled. People tell them they are okay, just fine. It's everybody else who is wrong. Give them proof, like a court transcript of the deeds done, and their brains short circuit.

These same glowing (oh, how I wish you could hear my level of sarcasm) people will ignore victims and side with the perpetrators.

These people pimp out their children. Now, to go off on a slight tangent, here's a documentary about child beauty pageants. Listen to the supposed adults excuse tarting up their children, teaching them to shimmy and be saucy, and keep their eyes on the prizes. They don't give a damn about the quality of that kid's life, but that they get a cut of what she earns. (Will do a future post breaking this documentary down and noting all the creepy things about it-- from the MC who sooo looooves kids to the Disney-esque font used for the pageant)

What I don't get is how a parent could offer their child up for sexual abuse? I mean, at what level of debauchery do we agree to revoke someone's humanity card?

I'm going to argue that Dr. Phil is doing his part to redpill the normies.

Remember when he caught a lot of flak with the episode regarding the girl who was sold into sexual slavery by her parents and was taught how to kill herself by "the man who owns her." Remember?
