Silence is not more golden than when a quarrel is brewing

Silence averts a lot of troubles and pain and could also avert wars. Loose talk on the other side is dangerous in that it reveals secrets that guarantee safety.

It is important to know when to talk and when to keep silent. When you have to talk however, ensure that you utter words that encourage, bless, edify and words of peace.

It is also important not to make claims that you cannot substantiate or bear false witness in any matter. Let your words breed peace, not brew quarrel or strife.
