RE: A model for a sustainable and peaceful future.

With all due respect @yliac - how many times does 'socialism' have to fail before people understand that it can never work? As Margaret Thatcher said on the topic 'you soon run out of other people's money to spend.'

Capitalism and the free market never fail - it is only corrupted by so called 'socialist' ideals, big government and their corporations (crony capitalism), currency printing and the like.

The beauty of cryptocurrency is that it is allowing capitalism and free markets to rise again. Taking power back from the governments, regulators and the corporations and giving it back to the people.

The fat-cat's of which you speak hold their positions because of regulations put in place to protect their monopolies / oligopololies. Under true capitalism, this would never happen.

Capitalism in its true form as described by Classical Economist Adam Smith is founded upon the family. Strong families then form strong communities which don't need government interference. And correct me is I am wrong - but is this not what you are after yliac.

I am replying because I am hoping you are not a lost cause here yliac. Don't get caught on the wrong side of the ledger when t comes to the socialism v capitalism debate is this Knight's advice.

Thanks for your respected input, maybe some form of hybrid capitalist and socialist society could work. With a pollution of 7-8 billion, a free market could be sailing into unchartered waters, especially when there is so many weapons involved. The anarcho capitalist idea is good in theory but transitioning from the world we live in today is unrealistic. Governance has played an important role for civilising humanity, and there has to be some kind of compromise until we can build a super computer to take its place.
