Dear peace

Isn’t it ironic that we have to fight for you?

I’ve been thinking a lot about what we can do to gain peace without war recently and as you might have guessed, I didn’t find the answer, well at least not completely.

How we stop Israel fighting Palestine, Syria fighting with itself, North Korea fighting South Korea, gangs fighting gangs, people fighting other people, I don’t know but I have thought about the fact that we should at least stop fighting with ourselves.

Often, the most serious wars are the ones that affect our hearts and our minds. We are so conflicted when we think about right vs wrong, good vs evil, emotion vs logic, health vs indulgence, love vs hate and it can be destructive.

It's deeply important to think about this now, as it seems that hate and anger tend to be the most common reactions in so many aspects of our world. Every person is capable of love and hate, it's just a matter of how he or she perceives what's around.

Maybe you can help us out a little. Let us know, if we accepted that we all have these problems and that each opposite just makes us human, would we be less tense, less stressed, less at war? Would we be more likely to find you… peace?

Maybe that’s the route to world peace too, I don’t know, I’m just thinking out loud, just asking.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this.

It's sure a shame that the entire world in general is battling for worthless courses
but I still believe all these chaos and anarchy will boil down to peace because peace certainly is not the absence of war.Great article

Great insight @stephenpaul and I agree, peace is not just the absence of war.
