Elements of Peace
One of the beautiful ingredients of life is peace. Peace is a state of calmness and freedom from conflict. It's important to understand that inner peace is greater than world peace. If one does not have personal peace, he's doomed, irrespective of how calm his environment is. Thus, peace around us is great, but the greatest is inner peace.
How we get it.
In order to posses peace, we must act peacefully. We can't be a snare to others and expect to live a peaceful life. Our peace has a root in how much we seek peace with others.Anyone that give hell to others also live in hell. Peace is a gift and peace is the reward of giving it.
How we lost it.
Conflict with people destroys our peace. When we begin to fight each other, peace gives way, almost immediately.
Lack of forgiveness is another monster that kills peace. The quest to revenge is not a friend to peace.
Greed is another way to miss it. Have you ever seen a man that wants all for himself? That man doesn't enjoy peace. Thus, the more the riches, the greater the distance between the greedy and peace.
My advice.
Apply moderation in everything. Let peace reign and you shall live happier and longer. There's nothing to fight for or die for on earth.
Peace and blessings for the whole humanity is the only way forward.
