RE: The Most Important Topic on Earth: Peace
What do you feel is different about peace now than the way JFK spoke of it? I can't find anything about the message that isn't timeless. He was able to see outside his current little frame of reference, an important and rare leadership quality.
The message really is timeless yet at this point I feel somehow that the individual efforts of people can become a greater force for peace as centralized power structures become less important. As more of the decision making and commerce become increasingly decentralized hopefully the need to fight over rare resources will decrease. Spreading the wealth would seem to be a path towards greater world peace and food security. The problems we are facing now are much different than those in JFK's time imho. Thanks for the peace token! :)
You're welcome. Thanks for your comments, and please let me know if you see anyone else who deserves a Peace token. I'll give them (and you) one :)
