PChain vs Quarkchain
This article attempts to compare the PChain [1] vs Quarkchain [2] by using various official sources, such as Whitepapers, MVP video demos, official reply from their admin correspondingly, and their official websites and twitters.
MVP
Both has a video demo of their MVP. Quarkchain MVP demo [4] shows live private testnet of their Quarkchain. The private testnet has only 5 nodes with 8 shards. It shows in the demo video how a transaction can be send from one wallet to another wallet. PChain MVP demo[3] on the other hand shows one main chain and two side chains, because PChain is a multichain blockchain. In PChain demo, it also shows a sample WorldCup smart contract, the debugging of the smart contract and how the smart contract using smart data to obtain the results, live in the demo, showing the smart contract and smart data runs successfully. And PChain are using 32 validators as compared to only 5 nodes in Quarkchain. And PChain shows a working smart contract running with smart data while Quarkchain only shows the basic token transferred. In MVP, PChain is clearly a big winner.
CONSENSUS ALGORITHM
PChain is using PDBFT, a more advance and efficient algorithm based on PBFT. PBFT can only support up to 20-50 nodes, while using PDBFT, which is invented by Dr. Feng Cao (PChain Founder), PDBFT allows thousands of nodes to be used in the consensus algorithm, removing the limit in PBFT. It is a lot more efficient than PBFT. PDBFT stands for P- PChain, D- Distributed, BFT as usual Byzantine Fault Tolerance.
Meanwhile Quarkchain is using POW as their consensus algorithm. Quarkchain is not even using PBFT algorithm, the POW algorithm is an old algorithm where even Ethereum network want to upgrade and change to POS. Why Quarkchain still using an old and out-dated consensus algorithm? Because it is difficult to have thousands of nodes using PBFT, and they have no idea how to achieve similar results as PDBFT.
Clearly, PChain wins big on consensus algorithm.
PATENTS
PChains's founder, Dr. Feng Cao has many patents filed with IBM. IBM will not file a patent if the patent is not useful. Quarkchain's team has ZERO patents!

BOOKS
PChain's team, published 2 books on blockchain. While Quarkchain has 0 books published on blockchain. One of the book published by PChain's team has foreword by Vitalik Buterin. It shows how strong is the technical level of PChain as compared to Quarkchain.
PAPERS Published
Both PChain and Quarkchain's team published a lot of papers. But if you look carefully, the founder of Quarkchain and its team, eg, Prof Xiaoli Ma, published many papers related to electrical and electronics engineering, and none related to blockchain. PChain team's papers are closely related to blockchain. This clearly show PChain is a winner again.
HYPE
Quarkchain has both Ian Balina and Suppoman shilling while PChain only has Suppoman, and Ian Balina passed PChain. Ian Balina invested in Quarkchain after 2 weeks the private sales of Quarkchain is closed. Why Ian Balina is given such a special treatment that he can invest on private sales that were closed 2 weeks already? Because Quarkchain need Ian Balina to shill. A good project doesn't need shiller to do the marketing. Here, Quarkchain win.
SUMMARY
MVP -> PChain wins
Consensus Algorithm -> PChain wins
Patents -> PChain wins
Books -> PChain wins
Papers published -> PChain wins
Hype -> Quarkchain wins.
It is obvious that PChain is a big winner in technology, idea, team credibility and experience, and Quarkchain has Ian Balina making Quarkchain hype so high.

Really good comparison but I think PChain is a lot better. Good thing Ive invested in it.
Obviously, this review is really biased because it's all favor in Pchain, I know for sure this review is really made just for them because as far as I know Quarkchain is a lot better than Pchain.
i careless on it being biased all i wanted right now is that Pchain to grow so i could recovered my lost investment from my previous one.
It was already proven when there was a voting poll made by Crypto Tracker Bot that Pchain lead as the top 1 as users choice among its competitors that was included by Quarkchain. Therefore many users love to use Pchain as their token. Also when you take a look at CMC Pchain still gaining even though almost all altcoins (including QKC) now suffering from the downfall of BTC. That is the basis why Pchain is really worth to invest.
Good to know that the pchain lead on the voting. I'am one of the user who love to use PAI and I must say it is worth it.
