It's a bug and Joe is looking into it. The reason you are getting a vote for your comments is you aren't posting at lease once a week. When you go over a week and have a high balance it will shift over to voting on your comments. For some reason the system changed our last post to show as over a week ago and triggered the comment voting. Joe manually triggered the vote on the post for us which it skipped. So to not drain all of our banked votes I figured making comments from some of the other accounts made sense.
