Yes the Beneficiary setting is what I was talking about. When it's mandatory it's a fee, optional is totally fine IMO. It's why I stopped using eSteem...it actually was less useful then steemit for their editor (which is sad) other then being able to schedule a post and they took a cut no matter what. I get that the devs want to get paid, but then make a high quality product that is worth paying for.
