If I had known I needed tissues, I would have brought them before reading this poem. This is a condensed account of grief and loss, and how love is not stopped by either one, although embracing the eternality of love requires the courage not to be embarrassed when the pain comes to the surface. Bonus points for the single point of human presence in the photograph ... it highlights the loneliness described in the poem.
