I hope you all are good and doing well. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing course "SLC22-W1 // Cold biscuit cake - Marquise". I haven't tried this before. It would be great fun for me and my kids. We enjoyed the making and eating at dinner this delicious marquise made our weekend complete.
Lets start the learning course
No,I haven't prepared any kind of cold cake from biscuits. Today was my first experience of making marquise. My family love chocolate cakes ao i tried chocolate marquise. My daughter was with me kitchen to enjoy the making. She learned the recipe from my making. She helped in kitchen cleaning too.
Today I'm making chocolate marquise by following the recipe given in the course. Let's start the recipe
Ingredients for the chocolate cream |

200 ml of milk |
20 gr of sugar |
20 gr of cornstarch |
1 cc of butter |
Marie biscuits |
30 gr of cocoa |
Digital scale |

Serving bowl |
Take milk in a pan , I take fresh milk so first i boil it.
Add corn starch coco powder in milk and mixed it well.

- To enhance the flavour of chocolate i added 1/2tbsp of coffee and make a mixture without lumps.
- Then add this mixture to hot milk slowly and keep stirring.

- Cook it until its gets thicker and off the stove and add cutter in cake cream.

To assembled the cake , place 1st layer of chocolate cream at the bottom of pan/mould.
Then dipped biscuits in cofee milk and place over chocolate cream layer.

- Br repeating the above method, make three or more layers or until it gets sets at bowl.

- I made three layers of business andvlast layer wS off chocolate cream. Keep it refrigerated to set the cake.

This is final presentation of my chocolate marquise
I didn't face any difficulty in making it, the teacher explained well and every step was cleared with picture in course. Br following the recipe I get 100% delicious results. As I'm trying first time so i don't have idea that fruity pulp cream may have any difficulty during making. Any how today I made a perfect dessert for my family..
*;For making perfect cold cake you should follow recipe, if you ate making dessert at higher quantity then multiply all ingredients with the same ratio to get good results.
Use dry bowl to mold the cake ,moisture may destroy your 1st layer.
Dont make this dessert too early before serving. It should be prepared maximum 3-4 hrs before. For perfect presentation its very important.
When you cook it there dhould be no lumps in chocolate cream.
