We only can see the Past, never the Present

Stars-at-Night-are-from-Past.jpg

Fun Fact: ALL those Stars you see in a Starry Starry Night... are NOT actually there; they were rather there in those positions at least 4 years ago in the Past.
We only can see the Past, never the Present.

The nearest Star to us (after Sun) Proxima Centauri was there at the position over 4.2 years ago, and the Brightest Star to us Sirius (A) was there at that position over 8.6 years ago from the time of viewing.

We can see the Sun after about 8 minutes 20 seconds of each of its position...

So, from our views, what our perspectives call "Sunrise" and "Sunset", actually already happen over 8 minutes before than our view of "Sunrise" and "Sunset" everyday.

None of us have ever seen a Real "Sunrise" or "Sunset" at actual Real-Time...
