Making a Mint with Mintvine: a Guide to a Dollar-a-Day Plus!

in #passive7 years ago (edited)

Mintvine has been around for a good while, but it appears that, compared to sites like Swagbucks, it's not that well-known.

So, I decided to create a little guide on how American and British users can earn roughly a dollar every day, relatively passively!

Note: due to the nature of these types of sites, Americans will always earn more (mostly due to there being more advertisements for Americans). However, I'm still making a dollar-a-day passively and much more actively, and I'm from the United Kingdom.

The first thing I will say is that their customer support is brilliant, though they often take a few days to get back to you. I've had numerous survey disputes (from companies that maintain shoddy technical quality, trying to disqualify on the last step, "timing outs", etcetera) settled in my favour, so Mintvine is actually on your side... so long as you didn't do anything wrong, that is!

Their EngageMe.tv pays out at the highest rate of $0.01, a position that is only shared by Grindabuck.

I have a spare desktop (one window), so I just let that sucker run pretty much 24/7 while I do other things, only occasionally checking in to see if the rare (and dreaded) "Are You Still Watching?" pop-up is there.

Earnings vary, but I get between $0.50 and $1.50 daily by EngageMe, and more from the surveys.

You can have one screen running per device, so three in total per household.

These points credit instantly, so by the math this is pretty much a good few dollars per week passively.

Unfortunately, there is no link for the EngageMe.tv app: it's browser-only.

You can find it under "Offers", in "AdWall". Click on a channel, for example "App Trailers", and let it run.

As for the "active" part of my earning from them, they frequently offer high-paying, very quick surveys either on-site or through your e-mail, so check both frequently.

As mentioned above, I often get $2.00 or so surveys through my e-mail or on-site itself: some are as short as a few minutes; other are 15 or so, but are worth it due to the high-point amount.

However, you do get surveys that aren't worth the point/time ratio, like $0.50 for 15 minutes: unless you're desperate for cash or have the spare time, just skip these.

If you have the time, though: do them.

It's all money, after all.

The Daily Poll System:

Their daily poll is, frankly, bloody amazing. You get $0.05 per question answered, per day, and a bonus of $0.25 for every ten days you answer in a row.

That may not sound like much, but... $0.05 x 30 = $0.30 + $0.75 x 3 = $2.25 per month extra for literally a second's worth of effort per day. It all adds up in combination with your other earnings.

Disqualification Points:

Even when I get disqualified, I frequently get points for my time: sometimes it's just a few, like $0.05; other times they've given me something like $0.30.

If you get cheated by a survey (such as being DQ'ed on the last step), take a screenshot (as you always should) just in case and contact customer support.

Rewards:

I have the UK rewards catalogue, so I can't see what the US one contains/offers, but I know they have PayPal and Amazon, the two gold standards of beermoney earnings. For US members, they also have Dwolla.

Now, the Ugly:

Except for EngageMe.tv and the Daily Poll, points take time to go from amber to green, meaning they're in a "pending" limbo. The time-frame can vary from a week to over three, depending on the people running that individual survey.

Here's a filtered image of a past status of mine.

Regardless, even if you don't do surveys, the EngageMe.tv makes it more than worth it due to its high-rate.

Rewards take about 5 days from redemption-to-you, so under a week at the most.

However, if you do take the surveys, by the time they've all cleared, you could make an extra $10.00+ per month on top of running EngageMe.tv!

So, in short:

#1: run EngageMe.tv
#2: do the high-paying, quick surveys
#3: profit
