6 Amazing things that happened at Passion 2017

Just got back from Passion 2017 in Atlanta, GA at the Georgia Dome and here are my top 5 things I experienced:

1. Worshiping with 55,000 christians, all of which were 18-25 years old. Our culture tell us that this generation isn't crazy about Jesus...I don't believe it.
   

2. Carrie Underwood surprised everyone and made an on stage appearance. It was a pretty cool moment to see someone at the top of their game in the music industry willing to make a small cameo at a Christian conference.
   

3. We skyped and astronaut from space! Commander Kimbrough shared his faith in Jesus after showing us all how to do backflips with ease.
   

4. Getting to provide towels and socks to the homeless of Atlanta. As the crowds strolled into the Dome on the first night, they carried these essentials in hand and filled up huge bins to help men and women who are living on the streets.
   

5. Getting to sponsor over 3,000 children. Passion set a goal to sponsor the unsponsored children from 3 different countries through Compassion International who provides food, clothing, and education to children from impoverished countries. Passion was able to do that, and more. 4 countries became fully sponsored in 24 hours and made headway into a 5th countries. That is the power of the church that is on mission together.
   

It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. I can't wait for next year!
