I present one of my passions ... Flamenco!

in #passion7 years ago

"Flamenco is a dance style typical of Andalusia, its main facets are singing, playing and dancing." Of all the hypotheses about its origin, the most widespread thesis is that which exposes the Moorish origin, only that the miscegenation The cultural process that took place in Andalusia at the time: natives, Muslims, Gypsies, Castilians and Jews, led to its creation. In fact, its germ existed in the region of Andalusia long before the gypsies arrived, also taking into account that there were gypsies in other regions of Spain and Europe, but flamenco was only cultivated by those who were in Andalusia. For us lovers of flamenco, it is more than a mixture of "singing, playing and dancing", it is a delivery of body and soul in the tables.

From a very early start my passion for this beautiful art, I danced in an academy that was very close to my house when I was 7 years old or so. Since I was so small and shy, I left because I was sorry to dance in public hahaha but over the years I went back and this time it was for an academy called "Malagueñas" located in my city Tachira-Venezuela.

This academy at the time was directed by Andrea Castillo, who because of the situation of the country had to leave and go to find a better future in another country. The academy was sold to one of the teachers and now has another name. For economic reasons I had to withdraw </ 3 but I really hope to return soon.

In the 5 years that I dance I made several presentations with the academy to which I belonged. This is always "dances of the end of the year" in July, to which family members and friends of us went to enjoy the show that we made all the members of the academy. These are some of the photographs I can get from those presentations.

In this presentation we performed a dance called "Garrotin", his costume was in pants and with a stick. It was a strong and serious dance but always with the touch of sensuality that flamenco adds.

In the Tachira state, the "San Sebastian Fairs" in honor of our patron "San Sebastian", are cataloged as one of the most popular in Venezuela due to their diversity and quality of activities. . Currently, due to the situation in the country, there have been a lot of unfortunately reduced quality :( But at the right time I had the opportunity to participate in several of its events, such as "the first fairground" and some bullfights (although I do not support them a lot was just going to dance)

These were in some "first fairground"
