Bachelorette Part of My Best Friend
I was supposed to post an entry yesterday but sad to say we do have a 9-hour blackout in the whole locals. I don't have any internet access and also dead battery already.
Last night, I attended the bachelorette party of my best friend Cynthia. It was a night that full of fun and surprises. Actually, this is my first time to attend this kind of event so I don't have any idea of what will be the happening in the rest of the night. Though, I saw often in the movie but knowing that what we saw on television is a bit different in the reality.
This is the venue of Cynthia's Bridal Shower. Actually, the first choice of venue had been cancelled due to restrictions on the hotel which is the Sydney Hotel. It was booked two weeks ago but just two-day before the said event, it was clearly discussed with the coordinators the rules such the limit of time and guest inside the hotel room, the drinks and the noise in the said area. They were offered to use the function room but the budget allocated is not enough since the function room rental is quite expensive and the number of guests expected is 15 the maximum so it is just big so they look for other options and luckily, they found the Rachel's Tuna and Grill & Ktv Bar which is a cheaper plus unlimited guests.
During the guest arrival, of course, nothing change still Filipino Time so instead of 5pm, most of the guest arrived at 6pm onwards and expects if someone went on time, there is someone who went late and the program is almost done. I and Margie went together since we are just neighbors and we need to buy gift and cake for Cynthia which the bride to be requested.
Margie is the childhood friend of Cynthia and Normila is our high school classmate which been closed to Cynthia because they both like reading pocketbooks. Yes! We do read pocketbooks high school days and until now but not as fanatic as high school days. And of course, I, Janeth, is the best friend of Cynthia since high school days. Though we met during grade school but we are not that close. As I remembered we started to be classmate since grade 3 till 4th year high school, but we started to be friends during our 1st year in high school. We both shared everything and we started to have life and now, she is going to marriage life and I do have my daughter. She's been my daughter's Ninang too.
As Cynthia requests, we do buy the cake from Red Ribbon, that is there best seller dedication cake, sorry for the cake since it is a bridal shower, we make the message a bit naughty. But I never taste it since I know that it will be a bit sweet. The 2nd cake from Cake Box, it is not sweet. Actually, it is good if you want to crave some slice of cake even you are in a diet.
It is been days that I am thinking of what is a good gift for a bridal shower. I already look in the search engines and I tried making some DIY but I don't think it is nice so instead of making, I stroll around the mall and see if what I can buy. I choose sexy nighties since she can use it during their honeymoon.
The whole event includes The Love Story Telling of the Soon-To-Be-Bride, the Two Truth and One Lie which aims to get to know each other of the guest but the consequence is the soon to be bride will drink San Mig Light. It was fun and followed by a game for the bride - the question and answer portion then opening of the gifts followed by giving advice for the soon to be bride and end with the moment of the soon-to-be-bride and the rest of the night is party time.

First of all, I just want to introduce myself as a newbie in this forum. Wow, it's been five years since the last post here! Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience of my best friend's bachelorette party. We had a blast last night, even though there was a 9-hour blackout in the whole area. Thanks to our coordinators, we were able to find another venue for the party which was Rachel's Tuna and Grill & Ktv Bar. It was even better because the rental was cheaper, plus we had unlimited guests. Male Strippers Charleston were the highlight of the night! We all had a lot of fun and lots of stories to tell after the party.
