When has chaos engendered by the ill-educated, over-emotional rabble produced anything of value? France is not in danger of civil war, but lawless criminality, as the central authority refuses to enforce established legal measures. Macron is singluarly inadequate to hold any political office. Surrendering to any mob's demands is tantamount to dissolving government. If burning a few cars and wrecking a few shops resulted in policy change, what will prevent these thugs from running amock demanding additional changes? Macron ought to have brought the iron fist, not the white flag of surrender; then again, a worthless merchant never should have been raised into political office.
