In heaven there are many dwellings.
I thank God, for allowing, through this community to spread the word of the Bible. I ask the Lord many blessings for this group that honors him.
The heaven of God is the highest, above all other heavens </ center>
What comes to mind when you think of the sky? Clouds, doors, all dressed in white, angels? and the big question, is how to get there.
The Bible offers details of some of the images of heaven.
Revelation 21: 1-2 (RV1960) I saw a new heaven and a new earth; because the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea no longer existed. And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descend from heaven, from God, ready as a wife dressed for her husband.
When Jesus was dying on the Cross, one of the thieves who had repented, asked him to remember him when he was in heaven and Jesus answered him "Today you will be with me in paradise" (Luke 23:43; 16: 19-31).
In Corinthians 12: 1-7 the apostle Paul said the following: "I have to boast. It is not profitable; but I will go to supernatural visions and revelations. 2 I know a man in union with Christ who, fourteen years ago-whether in the body, I do not know, or outside the body, I do not know; God knows - he was caught as such until the third heaven.
It seems to be the same, heaven and paradise. How many skies are there? If there is only one, then why did Paul say that a certain man had gone to the third heaven?
Particularly I consider, that life - death - and the unknown are cycles that necessarily the man in flesh and then in spirit will have to visit, of course, if he has walked in the first heaven by the correct paths of God and if so , a dwelling in heaven awaits you. Therefore, each stage of man goes through different places, some visible to the human eye and others not. Consider the following verse.
John 14: 2 (RV1960) In my Father's house there are many dwellings; if it were not so, I would have told you; I am going to prepare a place for you.
The Bible is true, therefore, the existence of the different heavens is not fiction.

I have always thought with proper Word and Obedience we are rewarded with a form of Heaven right here on earth.... I had something to eat today :)
