Its ofcourse easier to oppose but i'm not the business guru here ... and its pretty clear to me no one at steemit is that either unless they're having a lulz with it. Aforementioned tandem uses the platform in a different way, they had steemmonsters sell for usd but it runs 'off the chain' so you need an account, now the steem-engine and that scottbot thing will be a paid service as well, so you get exclusives which you can only get with steem or steem accounts and maybe that ... no that is probably the only thing other than advertising (which will require a lot of cold calls unless i really have no clue) : exclusives to the platform, be they or not with or without some kind of paid subscription ...
I really think it's up to the trending section to put their marketing mouth where their marketing mouth is ... and show everyone how that's done
yes marketing is a lot of things mostly imagine the pictures of this but Sales IS the only thing that counts marketing just a bunch of nice words actions speak volumes, i think their ad business functionality should have been incorporated into every account make it really easy and visible to use here is a link and the picture and send steem ,for every and anyone and since all ads must be approved should be easy hahaha :)))) OMG they're all beginners :)))
o well ... last time i checked the price was up by 1/6th ... :p i guess they'll have to grow into it, from the pinned posts it shows at least that they're not just sitting on their arses upthere , but i still think it comes down to the 1%er part of "the community" a lot as they got clout and probably connections to make actual stuff happen. While the lower side can only hope to try to get a product people want, and hopefully exclusively available through steem, whatever the use. I'd go for cold calls at this moment, at the risk of losing a few thousands to pay people to do it. Calling every brand on the planet to see if they can be convinced that having a steem account and promotional power can help them.
There seems to be several groups acting all thinktank on howto which also can't be a loss, at the very worst a null.
Whatever it is it's beyond the little people control. What would convince warren buffett to buy a million steem ? ... I'd pay money for anyone who comes up with a viable answer to that, lol ...
Maybe good it ain't my company, i'd probably have weird ideas all the time ... paying in steem to market somehow ... since that adds extra incentive as the amount is worth more if the campaign succeeds ...
Sssaa .. its 4:30 in the morning again, i was totally gonna gonna incorporate the trap in the map but i ended up giving a free lecture to the walls after i rendered it. They say it's therapeutic to write down your thoughts so maybe sharing secrets with the walls is just as well ...

ah ... well i say "a million steem" but the actual point would be that warren buffett buys steem - for a guy that almost always succeeds to actually do so ... that alone could be enough to start a little avalanche
