The Future of Steem
This week's hard fork was worse than expected.
It was quite a disappointment, actually. RCs may need to get rolled back, if minnows are unable to post. I'm ok with waiting a few more days before changing anything, in case the RC system is actually as responsive as advertised.
Here's my question-could Steem go into a death spiral after a week of most users being unable to post? I'd prefer not, but it's not impossible. I'm pretty excited that Steem is finally growing beyond the Steemit blog experience, but it's difficult to maintain enthusiasm when every project on here is a one or two person gig-not a full blown startup.
Anyway, I'm mostly posting just this short post to get back on the wagon of writing after HF20.
Are you able to comment or post yet? I've heard rewards might be really big this week as not too many people are active...

I am able to upvote, comment, and post. In regards to big rewards this week, it may happen if you interact with some of the bigger users. But my observation so far is that rewards are down, because people are still trying to recharge their voting power.

@protegeaa, Let's hope for the best because at this moment in my opinion we have to stay in the phase of waiting because once the issue is Resolved then we can see how it will going to move in future.
But yes, it really hit many Steemians and many are not able to post and for sure it's an disappointing aspect. But as we know that Decentralised systems are not simplified so we have to give the value and efforts which are putting by the team and we have to hold the patience.
