Ugly statement

On 30. March. 2020 at Changi Airport terminal 1, Check in Row 1. (8M232/MMA 232). All passengers are rushed to check in counter due to covic19 issues and lockdown at Myanmar.

We got a call from travel agency that all flight will suspend after 30th March because Myanmar is prepared lockdown and will be a last flight to Myanmar ad we need to go airport on the next morning and get que for the vacant sits.

And they give us the message that we cannot carry any luggage dues to prioritise for the passengers to fly back.

Fair enough for situations and the next day we rushed to airport and try to get the sits for the flight. We are quite early and get to Que for the chance. Duty officer are quite helpful and advise us to spread 1M apart from each other.

At the time we found out that there are 3 different types of passenger.

  1. Posted flight tickets owners
  2. Postponed flight tickets owners
  3. Walk-in tickets buyers
    I can understand that post flight tickets owners will be first priority and secondly postponed
    Flight tickets owners (I think). Everyone are rushing to get back home country before lockdown. But I don’t understand what airline authorities was doing. Walking in tickets buyer will needs to pay more expensive price is everyone knows but they should not be prioritised. (I Guess) unless the person has wave his or her postponed ticked and just want to buy the ticket for his or her insurance.

Second Issue....
Every passengers are allowed 30 Kg + hand carry 7 Kg as per normal routine flight. As a message from travels agencies for today postponed flight tickets owners are only allowed for hand carries. I do still agree with the statement.
But posted flight tickets owners should be allowed to carry 30 Kg + hand carry as per normal. But they reduced to only allowing for 20Kg+ hand carry. I still can try to understand the situation.

Interesting things is happening around the check in area. About more than 300 Kg of personal cargo has arrived to check in rolled from the back and they are allowed to passed the check in counter.

All cargos was from one of the Logistics Company they was doing delivery service goods from Singapore to Myanmar. I still not jealous to Logistics company (not because of I known them😝😜🙄).

They also need to pay to the air line for the price for sure. I give credit to Logistics Company for their services.

Now my doubts is why airlines officers are not allowed passengers for their rights of 30Kg? Why all passengers are not stand for their rights? Where is the balance of all the passenger’s cargos go to?

When normal days the flight can fly full passengers will their luggage and belongings and even extra cargos. Why the flight only cannot fly today?

They are unhappily reduced their personal belonging and throw away to the rubbish bin and left at airport. Some body is doing some fishes played. Actually it’s very ugly and shameful attitude. Nobody will voice up and take action.

Why people are taking advantage of their authority and others people’s kindness.
