The Glasgow necropolis
No visit to Glasgow would be complete without a visit to the necropolis.
This was originally built by the merchants of the city to honour their dead and quite progressively was inter-denominational. Indeed the first burial was of a local Jew.
The place records the great and good and everything else in between.
