Snow Came Crashing Down From Above The Carport - Took The Snowguard Down With It

It is about +7 C out there. The strong west-northwesterly wind from the Atlantic blowing over the Scandinavian mountains is causing this. It's been raining heavily in central Norway. The Swedes and us get to enjoy dry and very warm weather as a result. The latent heat in the moisture has been transformed into a relatively high temperature. This is called the Föhn effect.

Too bad the show is melting so rapidly that roofs have become so slippery that any snow is bound to come down.

Maybe 1-2 cubic metres of wet and heavy snow.

A snow guard that came off and down with the snow. No damage to the roof.

All removed now.
