TAUSA PIANG CRISPY AND MY OHANA
Enough about my fruitcake story. For those who already know me, they definitely knows that I love food and baking. I am not talking about fruit cake only but baking chocolate cake, pastry and traditional cakes.
October is the month of Rosary, each year our family will gather at least once a week to recite the rosary together. This year we use my uncle Etoi's newly renovated house for our meet up rosary prayer. My aunt ordered curry puff, popiah vege and tausa piang from me.
Who doesn't love Tausa Piang right? So I make my tausa piang bigger than the usual size and more crispier than shop bought one. My cousin loves it because its not sweet but my aunties hated it because i make it bigger. Its diameter about 4" compare to usual one only 2.5" lol.
Anyway my piang become the highlights after the rosary prayer. I enjoyed looking at people who loves my food. A family that pray together, eats together, stay together and the family will lived happily ever after.
Ohana means family. We stayed at my uncle's place until midnight drinking wine and chit chatting with each other and pigging out with all the delicious food.
