If you consider that when you pass there is a measurable amount of weight that leaves your body it would imply there is something past this existence but we may never know while still living.

Hello friend, well that the "soul" weighs and when the body dies it weighs less since the soul abandons it is a pretty refuted myth hehehe
Only on the bases that the soul is regarded to have mass which would imply something physical to leave the body, there has never been ample tests to prove or disprove the theory.
What I suggest is if we believe the soul is energy by nature it does not have mass but may effect weight in the same way as magnetic charge creating attraction. Thus assuming the unmeasurable force of gravity is more a large field of electromagnetism we cannot detect because we are also surrounded by it with all mater within the worlds atmosphere the added energy of the soul is just enough to create a measurable effect on weight.
