you can not say from the Bering Strait because explain why they are not Chinese decent and South Americans are from where if you use the Straight ...
P.S. ... just askin to any person with DNA tests from South America - does all the people with DNA tests show you are from Africa ...???

I personally go back to the ancient alien origin story’s to explain this, we obviously have a huge chunk of lost history and the evolution of man has been speculated upon many times. I don’t think we will ever have a definitive answer yet DNA does show we all carry the same ancestors.
