Like you, it was luck which got me my first stake in crypto, when a down on his luck friend offered crypto to kick in on pizza, beer and the internet while staying at my place. He was pumping out Bitcoins on graphic cards at the time.
It was the peak price in 2015 that had me taking them seriously. Up to them they were excepted as payment to humor my friend. My opinion was, an interesting technology but it wasn't money. 😎
The crash found me doubling down on my holdings and have been a believer ever since. Not meant as financial advice, but this certainly looks like another time to get in.
