Lisa Gherandini or "Mona Lisa"

This is Lisa del Giocondo wife of Francesco del Giocondo who ordered tha portrait of his wife to Leonardo da Vinci in 1503.

The known paint of Mona Lisa was painted on this paint.

The picture and info are from my visit in exhibition : "500 years Leonardo da Vinci" in Athens.

    Unfortunately the lights weren't very well placed in the room .. On the other hand she may needed a star for emphasis !
