Ontario gems - Beaver in Algonquin provincial park
Beaver
Beavers are known for building dams, canals and lodges. They are the second largest rodent in the world, a capybara is the biggest.
A couple of years ago we were hiking in the Algonquin provincial park and we encountered this beautiful beaver. He was not scared and just kept eating.
Before the only ones I had seen were far away in the water.
