So sorry you've been without power! I'm well-acquainted with what it's like. 😔
Thank you. Power came back today and I had to put down the knitting to catch up on laundry and dishes, but knitting is still going well, too.

I am so thankful for our wood burning stove. Even if the power goes out, I know that our house will be heated and we can cook on the top of it. :-)

Yes, when we lived out in the country we had propane gas logs and a blower and a generator. We were toasty during a big ice storm ten years ago. We need to be better prepared in the city, too.
