Partiko Q1 2019 – Activities, Posts, Votes and Top Users

in #partiko5 years ago (edited)

Introduction

Partiko seems to be doing a great job. The app is a top of a class, smooth, fast and simple. Everything that a mass market app need. It is becoming the number one mobile app for the Steem blockchain. I personally depend on the notifications from the Partiko a lot. Without them I would be cut of from the Steem BC. Another great use are the comments. People seem to get the notification on the app when someone commented on their post a reply from the app.

The app has a point system and rewards its users with Partiko points for their activities. Also, they have integrated ads in a great manner. If someone interested to earn some points, they can go and watch ads.
Partiko points are redeemable for votes.

It seems that this project is making all the right moves. A web app is also expected soon. Let’s see what the stats says about it. After all stats don’t lie 😊.

Data for the Q1 2019 period will be presented on the number of posts, comments, votes and top users. One thing that is driving activities on the crypto projects is the price. In the period analysed we have seen a small recovery in the crypto prices, after the long bear market in 2018.

Activity on Partiko

Activity on the platform is in posts and comments. Partiko users are making their posts and comments on the app and all of them end on the Steem BC. Posts and comments can be made from the other Steem interfaces like Steemit, Partiko, Busy, Esteem etc.

Because of this, two sets of data for activities were analysed. The first is showing all the post and comments with the partiko tag, and the second one is for the posts and comment made only with the partiko.app.

The total number of posts and comments is show in the chart below. Data for each day was collected and presented on this graph.

As expected, the overall data containing the partiko tag have more activities that the posts and comments made only through the Partiko app. But there is a very small difference between them, meaning the Partiko app is being used a lot. The next charts will show only the activities on the app.

The total number of posts and comments on Partiko in Q1 2019 is 471.757, out of which 396.749 posted from the Partiko app.

We can immediately notice an uptrend in the period analysed. One reason could be the crypto prices, but for sure the Partiko team is also doing a great job and bringing more users to the platform. Great one.

This is a serious number of activities on the app. With around 6k daily posts and comments on the end of the period. This is around 10% from all the posts on the Steem BC.

Note on the numbers. There was a huge spike in the activities on a couple of occasions in this period. I have made adjustment on those days, so the chart looks more reasonable.

I don’t know what is the behind this, probably some spam or something. Also, there is a drop in the activities in February, probably due to some problems with the platform.

Posts and Comments with the Partiko App in Q1 2019

As mentioned, activities on the platform are in terms of post and comments.
Below is a breakdown on posts and comments made with the Partiko App.

3.png

The total number of posts with the Partiko App in Q1 is 55.781, and the number of comments is 389.457 .

As already mentioned, I have made an adjustment in the number of comments for 3 days in the period analysed.

The upper line is the number of comments and the lower one posts. This is an almost 1 to 7 ratio posts to comments. This numbers confirms that Partiko is being used a lot for commenting.

As for the overall activities, here as well we can see that the trend is up.

Partiko Votes in Q1 2019

As to my knowledge Partiko is voting users who have delegated to the platform. But, unlike the other platforms Partiko have limited is delegation. They had a delegation round back in the autumn 2018, reached its limit and closed it. This is the informations I’m aware of. If somebody have more info on this please comment.

Except for the delegators, @partiko is voting trough their other account @partiko.promoter. This account is used as an exchange for the Partiko points.

Here how the voting looks in Q1 2019.

4.png

The total number of posts voted from @partiko in Q1 2019 is 33.739 and 10.081 posts voted from @partiko.promoter

This is a high number of votes. I’m not aware of any other dApp doing this. They are giving a big support to the community. Also the number of votes from the @partiko.promoter app is quite high. Meaning Partiko users are actively exchanging their point.

The number of daily votes from the @partiko account in the period analysed is almost constant, around 400 votes per day. The number of votes from the @partiko.promoter account is on a rise. Meaning more and more people are exchanging their Partiko points.

Number of Monthly Users Voted

The number of Partiko users that received a vote from @partiko and @partiko.promoter is an interesting to follow.
This shows how many users Partiko supported with their vote. Below is a chart with a number of monthly users that received vote from both, @partiko and @partiko.promoter.

5.png

The number of mountly users voted from @partiko in March is more than 3.000

This yet again, as for the other data, shows that Partiko is supporting a large number of users. The trend here is positive. The number of users voted from the @partiko.promoter account is growing by the month and it March it has reached 1.500.

Number of Unique Users in Q1 2019

As already mentioned, we have seen a small increase of the crypto prices. Has this contributed in increasing the number of authors posting with Partiko?

Below is a chart with the number of unique users that posted on Partiko in this period.

6.png

A total of 6042 users posted using Partiko

We can see a very clear up trend here. New users constantly keep comig to the Partiko app in this period. This much more then the average trend in this period. March seems to be getting even more traction and the number of new users is increasing even more.

This shows the potential that this app have. With a web app coming soon they can have even bigger growth.

@blueangel with more than a 5000 posts and comments is an absolute champion here. A lot of commenting going on there 😊. Congrats.

Another way to rank users is by the number of votes they received from Partiko.
Here is the list.

We can notice some of the previous users from the previous list here as well. It makes sense the most active ones to be rewarded. On first place here is @rosatravels. Congrats.
A good way to look for dependencies is the scatter diagram.

Here is one for the number of posts vs number of votes.

Posts VS Votes

7.png

We can see a pattern forming, especially in the lower number of posts. There is a certain dependency between the number of posts and votes for the users.

Conclusion

Partiko is showing a serious number of activities and growth in the user base that seems to outperform the standard increase in users just because the price is up. They have been consistent with all the right moves made. A total of 400.000 posts and comments were made with the app in Q1 2019 from 6.000 users. Partiko voted 44.000 times, supporting on average 3.000 users per month. The top users have more than 3000 posts and comments and received more than 200 votes from Partiko.

All the best
