Footy Talks - David VS Goliath?
The next match in the English Premier League will pit two Manchester club at Old Trafford today. Man City is obviously more fancied to win the match as they are the better side against a weaken Man Utd.
After the win against Tottenham last Saturday, Man City will be more confident coming into this match. However, Man Utd might be still reeling after their heavy defeat against Everton.
Man Utd has been weaken by poor forms lately, and I can't see them winning or even draw this match against Man City. I'm expecting another hammering from city, that will eventually crush the Man Utd players self-esteem.
It'll be a David vs Goliath type of match this will be, and I believe, this time David won't be able to bring Goliath down to the ground. Unless of course, luck is on Man Utd side.
As a Liverpool fan, it'll be a great pleasure to see Man Utd lose this match and drop points so that they won't qualify for the Champions League next season. But at the same time, I wanted them to win or at least hold City to a draw so that Liverpool will have more chances to win the league. I think this is a dilemma most Liverpool fans are having at the moment.
