Celebration of Buddha

Today is the day where Buddhist celebrate the all-in-one-day celebration of a birthday, enlightenment, and passing of Buddha. Though I am not a Buddhist, I can say I have been involved in this celebration for most of my life as my mother and brother both are devotees. The practice and sights had been very common to me for years. The calming sound of prayer chants, familiar burning smell of incense, and the colourful sight of flower arrangement around Buddha statue had been an expectance every year in this very day.
