What moisturiser is your preference?
A lotion has a loose consistency. Has more water than oil.
A cream has a thicker consistency with more oil than water.
An oil is on its own. Either as one oil or a mixture if carrier oils and essential oil.
A butter is the thickest of them all and provides a protective barrier on dry skin and keep it hydrated for longer compared to the other moisturisers.
Some prefer the light weight of an oil. Some others the thickness of a cream, others the lightness of a lotion and for those with dey skin, they have no choice than to make do with body butter that helps them out even in extreme conditions.
I hated the thought of oil on my skin until I tried it. Now I am in love with the feather weight that still keeps my skin moisturised.
Whatever your preference, as long as it is used consistently to keep your skin moisturised, you are good.❤
