This project has always intrigued me. I am not a fan of the idea of centralized tokens but it might just work in this instance.
I've made mention before of 'opt-in' adverts on Steemit (that can be shut off with the same ease that people shut off NSFW content) and it got me a lot of sour lemon reactions... But -- really -- if it's 100% opt in -- what would the harm be -- and I can imagine the effect that'd have on the price of Steem...
Thoughts?
I think it is a valid idea. If someone is willing to watch a 30 second advertisement for some BAT (or STEEM in your suggestion), then why should that be discouraged. Those who do not want to view it, can pass.
Certainly a better idea for earning credit than employing indiscriminate vote bots!
Yes I agree with you that BAT could be a good solution to revolutionize the way advertisement and user experience will come together. What do you think of Oyster Pearl on IOTA Blockchain. This Team managed to right one line of java code to implement there new Adrevenue model. That looks pretty amazing and convinient to me if you have time check it out. https://oysterprotocol.com/
I've been using Brave, is a good browser but it has some problems.
I also posted about it in my blog and I hold long time , in one of the better idea whit one of the better team , it’s very cheap only because adv didn’t start yet
I have been using the Brave browser for a couple of months now on my labtop and enjoy the speed while on it. I also like that it blocks ads. I still use other browsers for Steemit and other secure sites as I am still testing it and I have not installed it on my phone yet. I think that will be my next step. I also have not used the BATs but have also looked into it.
Are they paying for opt in ads yet?
Looks quite interesting
