Paris - TOP 10 THINGS TO DO ON A FIRST VISIT!

TOP 10 - Walk on the banks of the Seine River

What could be better than admiring this amazing river that adds up a romantic atmosphere to this lovely city? You will feel calm and relaxed just by spending 1 hour walking by its banks or admiring it from the numerous bridges of Paris. Make sure to check it out.

TOP 9 - Spend an afternoon relaxing on the Jardins de Tuileries

There is no reason to explain why that item is on my top 10. You will feel like a french person spending some of your time there.

TOP 8- Walk (and shop) the whole Champs-Élysées

If you like shopping you CAN NOT miss that opportunity. There are plenty of good stores and even though is a bit pricey you will be able to tell you bought it on the Champs-Élysées lol

TOP 7 - Visit the Church Sacré-Coeur

This church is located on a hill so you can just imagine how beautiful is the view of the city from it, not counting how astonishing is the church by itself. The neighbour is also really good if you want to buy souvenirs for cheap. To go up the Sacre-Coeur you can either go up the steps or take the funicular, which I strongly recommend since it can be tiring to go up the steps.

TOP 6- Eat a crepe on Trocadero at night

I do it every time I go to Paris! The Trocadero crepes (the ones on the actual top of the monument) are so delicious and the view of the Eiffel Tower light up makes it an unforgettable experience.

(Unfortunately I don't have a picture of that. I just enjoy my time with myself when I am doing this kind of Paris ritual lol)

TOP 5 - Take a boat tour

You will be able to experience the magic of Paris and its romance to its fullest. Just sit down and enjoy the chance of taking a lot of amazing pictures. I used the boat company Bateaux Mouches de Paris.

TOP 4 - Visit the Notre Dame Church

This church is a very important attraction of the city and its gothic style is astonishing. You will lose your mind admiring the vitrals of the church.

TOP 3 - Spend some time on the Louvre Museum (don't expect much from Monalisa)

The Louvre Museum isn't just a place filled with culture and history but also a really beautiful building with amazing architecture. People can spend a whole day walking around this museum so it had to be on this must do list. Paris has other nice museums, as the Pompidou museum (modern art) and the Musée D'orsay, but going to Paris and not going to the Louvre is like never being in Paris.

TOP 2 - Visit the Arc de Triomphe

It is for sure the second most beautiful and remarkable monument of Paris. Dividing the unforgettable Champs-Élysées in half the Arc de Triomphe shows the power of France and is a must in your pictures.

TOP 1 - Visit the Eiffel Tower

It may sound cliche, but the best thing to do when you first visit Paris is visiting the Eiffel Tower. Personally I don't recommend making it all the way to the top, since it can be costly and the view of the city isn't as charming because you are on what makes it amazing... If you want a breath taking view of Paris, make sure to visit the 56th floor of Tower Montparnasse. I am not adding it to the TOP 10 because people normally go there when they are regulars but it is indeed the best view you can get of the city.
