Parents

When i was growing up i remember many times in my childhood and teenage years thinking i cant wait when i dont need my parents anymore!! I wanted to live my life independently and make all my own choices.
How wrong i was!!! Only through life experience and being a parent i now really realise that you always need your parents no matter how old you are, they are the comfort and support you need in times of struggle and they are the people you share your happiness with in times of joy.
Many times we think our parents are really only needed when we are young and unable to care for ourselves but that bond is there throughout our lives. Eventhough there are many times we really dont want that extra advice or nagging voice, parents will always shine a little ray of hope in the darkness. When we lose our parents no matter how old we are we will lose a part of ourselves when they die. And no matter how many times your child says that dont really need your help, there will always be a need around the corner.
We all need each other.
