Gift from In-laws

7 years ago I married a wonderful man with wonderful parents. A year after our marriage, they gifted us with a 2013 calendar with 12 commandments for parents- 1 for each month of the year. I remember being sad that I didn't have a 2014 calendar once the year ended. The words written there were really nice and made your think.

I want to share those commandments with you this year. One each month.
The calendar is written in Russian so I will be posting a translation.

COMMANDMENT 1- January

"Don't wait for your child to become a copy of you, because like you, he has been created in God's image. Help him become himself."
