Thanks for the post! My son is 9 months old, but I can already tell he's going to be very independent. Which leads me to think back talk is going to happen a lot. I've been trying to prepare myself for this and generally understand that he's just speaking to his own independence, so not to come down hard, but to look at him as a separate being who is trying to understand and learn how to approach a new situation.
