NO PAIN NO GAIN
My son was scheduled for his vaccine intended for 18 months old last Thursday at 3:00 PM. As per his record, his vaccines are OPV4 for polio through oral, tetravalent for diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and HEPA B, and PVC13 for pneumonia. We were assigned to a Filipina nurse to give my son vaccines and she told us that she will also give the first dose of flu vaccine for my son so the injections are in 2 arms and 2 legs - a lot to take for 18 months old but we agreed because it is for his health.
We BUILD UP connection, we CREATE innovation, we VALUE relationship
While we were waiting, my son was enjoying his time walking, no running around the center and had his milk after he got tired. The Filipina nurse weighs and checked my son's height. 13.7 kg and 86 cm long. He is in above average in height taken that we are not tall. His head circumference is a bit big too and the nurse told us there is nothing to worry about. I do not too. The only problem with his is his speech. He still doesn't talk and I blame his iPad for the speech delay. Well, as parents, we too are to be blamed for this. IPad and other gadgets for toddlers are really digital heroin. It can cause attention deficit, speech delay, sleeping problems -this explains my toddler's waking up in the middle of the night. The nurse was too kind to give us ideas of what to give him to play with - coloring books, stacking toys are some of the examples. After 4 injections, an oral vaccine and cries from my son (and my husband while watching our child taking those painful injections- Haha) we were instructed to get an appointment again in the reception area for his second shot flu vaccine which is scheduled on December 14. He fell asleep while we were going home. Luckily, he didn't have a fever after his 4 shots of vaccines.

wow so many injections in 1 day glad he is ok
oo nga mam. He was running at the center after his injection. He even said his goodbye to the nurse who gave him shots. LOL
Your title is very true... As a parent I also experience the same with my child
It really hurts seeing your child(dren)cry but its for their health.
It could have been difficult for your husband to watch him crying.
Everytime he has his shots sir but we just laugh it out. Kasi kahit sabihin natin na nag iinject lang namn ung mga nurses, parang nakakaramdam ka ng konting galit sa knila. LOL. Hay parents.
