Racist Bread
My son who is "spectrumy" sometimes struggles to understand nuance.
The other day we were out grocery shopping and I asked him to get a loaf of white bread. He responds "Ok, Mom...but why are we getting racist bread?" I looked at him searching for some hint that he isn't serious, but he totally is. I told him "it's just bread, how can it be racist?" He said "because it's white." Um, I hate to break it to you little man, but you're as white as that bread and you hate racism with a passion.

Hee, hee... this is so priceless! My kids crack me up with the things they say too. Makes you look at the world in a whole different way :D
The thins they come up with are hilarious sometimes!
When I was a kid I never understood the saying "Many hands make light work." I always took "light" to be light coming from a light bulb and couldn't figure out how that would work. Kids look at the world so literally!
Lol! That's awesome!

I started following you. I would appreciate your follow back too. Thanks!
Just a tiny tip, I'm far more likely to follow someone who engages me via comments. A request to follow isn't engaging in the least....in fact it's spammy and a huge turn off, but I'll go look at what you're posting and if it's up my alley, I'll follow you.
