Building worldchangers...aka parenting...

Friends! Im thrilled to be apart of a new cohort being developed on steem and want to introduce you guys to it! If you are a parent or interested in becoming one in the future then this is for you!

@steemparents has set out to build a community of parents that put out encouraging content, support and high fives to each other. The process of parenting is one of failing forward...anyone that tells you their 5 step parenting plan is working is ridiculous - kids are dynamic, diverse, creative, destructive, messy and will never fit into anyones theories. However, there are lots of places where we can support each other, and spur each other on to awesomeness. So please jump in, give @steemparents a follow!

One of my favorite things about being parents is the reality that I get to build little nuggets that are going to write History. In our society - infused with comparison, confusion, insecurity and a general lack of purpose - helping my children understand their identity, treat people with respect, dominate fear, and have a relationship with their creator - while incredibly difficult - sustains me in the monotony that can be parenting. I hope to encourage other parents to do the same in this cohort. I have already been encouraged by a few steemers that are worth a follow - @sumatranate and @dadview - and look forward to continuing to do that!
