The "Sound" of "Being Watched".

This article is not going to be what you think it is about, but the title will be relevant by the end. This is about a piece of research that we did involving what is called the "Electronic Voice Phenomenon" also known as "E.V.P.". I know many people out there may know what it is already which is why this friendly author is will be kind enough to tell you to skip the second paragraph. Skip the second paragraph. (See what I did there?) (Don't you wish you could just skip the explanation on every ghost show?)(Are you wondering why I couldn't just put all of this within one set of parenthesis?) (I wonder about myself too sometimes.)

But for those who may not be familiar with it, I will explain the basics of what it is. E.V.P. is basically when a disembodied voice that was not originally heard with the naked ear is somehow imprinted on an audio recording device. Some of these voices provide intelligent responses. Other's seem more random.

LET'S GET THIS OUT OF THE WAY! There is no such thing as an "EVP Recorder". It's a digital audio recorder!!! There is nothing special about it. I'll prove it.

Here is an "EVP Recorder" that some of us Paranormal Researchers use. This advance device allows you to record sound.

Here is a Digital Audio Recorder that you could find at your local Walmart. This advance device ALSO allows you to record sound!

Why do I bring up this nonsense. Well you may be surprised by this, but there is a method to my madness.

Currently many in the Paranormal Field say that what is being recorded is not produced by sound waves, but EMF (Electromagnetic Field). What I find more humorous is I am not sure that the field even believes this as much anymore. If it were just from EMF then why does this field pride itself on developing "specialized" recorders that can pick up on sound waves that the average human ear can not hear?

Let's consider the following here. It has been found that there are different types of sounds. The Earth has its' own sound that was recorded from space as well as sound that was recorded from other planets. Have a listen!

Now space is vacuum so the typical sound waves can not travel which is why there is "no sound" in space. Let us take a look at something here in regards to EMF. During a lightning storm, you get thunder. Thunder is the sound produced by lightning. You will see the lightning before hearing the thunder because sound travels slower than light. You are not hearing the "sound" of the EMF from the lightning. You will hear the sound of thunder on a digital audio recorder when you play it back.

When a spiritual entity speaks, an EMF reader has been known to activate and then a disembodied voice is later found on the device. This is partially where the argument about EVP's being produced by EMF came from. Here is the thing...our naked ears can't hear EMF so how is it possible for people to hear an entity with the naked ear sometimes while it is recorded on the device? This would mean that something had to produce a sound wave that was at the proper frequency for the human ear to be able to hear it.

Now this leads to the next question. Is it possible that spiritual beings are capable of producing TWO different forms of sound? They set off an EMF reader AND in some cases can be heard via sound waves. Does this mean there may be TWO different ways of capturing responses from spiritual beings? Could this be similar to lightning where lightning produces EMF, but also creates sound? For right now I am just going to let you ponder these questions and also end this article on another creepy question.

You may not be aware, but you can feel sound. When sound hits a certain frequency, the person can feel it, but will likely not hear it. We tested this and found that just before the person hears sound they feel it first. Sometimes their heart even began to pump at a higher rate while getting goosebumps and "chills". This leads to the next question. Since we can hear ghosts with the naked ear sometimes and other times we can't, could "that feeling" you get where you get "chills" and goosebumps actually be a spiritual entity trying to speak to you, but you just can't hear them?

As you can see, our study of disembodied voices and "the feeling of being watched" goes deeper than just what's presented in front of us. This study allows us to figure out at approximately what frequency an entity may be on, how often their frequency fluctuates and much more.

We will go deeper into this in the future, but just some things to think about.
