Okay, so we have a problem here. Everything just has to be complicated, right?

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....nope. Nope, it doesn't need to be, but that's what us people like to do, right? There is so much to this universe and how everything works that we don't fully understand, but perhaps we should really focus on getting the content that we do have in front of us correct first BEFORE we try to advance ourselves on even more complicated studies.

Most of you reading this probably may not realize that reincarnation is in the Bible. I am sure at this point some of you are flipping through your Bible's looking for the word "reincarnation". Have fun with that!

Just like in the article I did about ghosts in the Bible, this once again is indirect. I was told that you either go to Heaven or Hell. You do not return as a person or in spirit form. You know what is funny though? This "belief" that was taught to me by a certified professional contradicts the teachings in scripture.

Have you read about the story of Elijah? Elijah was taken up body and soul. Don't you just find that so fascinating?!

So no flesh and blood, huh? Then I wonder how Elijah entered the kingdom with flesh and blood. I know you are probably at this point just waiting to comment below on this part, but put your eager fingers away until you are done reading this article because we have ANOTHER issue to discuss!

ELIJAH RETURNED!!!

When? Well many believed that John the Baptist was the returned Elijah, but John the Baptist denied this. But Christ contradicts his claim here: (READ VERSES 11-13) http://biblehub.com/niv/matthew/17.htm

Now I've already heard the argument that "John the Baptist" was only "acting like" or in the "spirit of" Elijah, but was not reincarnated and it also did not say "reincarnated".

Yes, because that's EXACTLY what Christ said right? He said that Elijah was "NOT Reincarnated", said the "reincarnation does not exist" and also said that John the Baptist was only "acting like Elijah" or "in the spirit of Elijah" right?

Let's use some logic here! John the Baptist was killed prior to Christ going up the mountain and speaking with Elijah and Moses. Then Christ tells his disciples that Elijah had already come but nobody knew it was him and somehow the disciples knew that it was John the Baptist that Christ was referring too. John the Baptist did not know he was Elijah. Christ had a discussion with Moses and Elijah on the mountain, but not much was explained about this discussion. Why did Christ meet with them? Is this where Christ found out about who John the Baptist was?

FUN FACT:

THE CHRIST MET WITH MOSES ON EARTH WHO HAD ALREADY DIED. THIS MEANS A SPIRIT RETURNED TO EARTH CONTRARY TO WHAT I WAS TAUGHT ABOUT SPIRITS NEVER RETURNING TO EARTH!

Another interesting point to be considered. BOTH Elijah (who was taken body and soul) and Moses (who died) BOTH appeared the same way and at the same time before Christ. So are we to believe that ONE was a spirit and ONE was in flesh?

This leads to the question though...if John the Baptist was Elijah, then what happened to Elijah's original body???

I will leave you with this. By reading the story of John the Baptist and Elijah, can we distinguish by what we know about his actions as to whether or not he is Elijah? Is one more mature than the other? Does John the Baptist go through any noticeable challenges that he might have failed at as Elijah or experienced anything that he was able to avoid experiencing in his life as Elijah? Are there any similarities in their personalities?
