I think I've just seen something that goes straight to the top of my bucket list!
Nice video. It looks as complicated a set-up as a hang-glider, just without the need for the frame to remain rigid. Of course, I guess you need your sail to not deflate and make sure your string attachments aren't tangled / likely to snap.
Looks to be in the same ballpark as hang-gliding, though. Don't jump off the wrong cliff / don't fly near pylons etc.
Have you done both? If so, which do you prefer (for fun alone / value-for-money/fun)?
I've not done hang-gliding, paragliding is much simpler a set up, easier to carry and weighs less too. You can literally be airborne within 5 mins of opening a paragliding rucksack, I guess HG takes far more prep time.
