After Midnight
Strange things happen
after midnight
when the moon
casts down her glow.
Creatures scuttle
tinged in shadow.
World within worlds
pulse and grow.
Whispers
of silence,
cerulean sorrows.
Her darling weeping.
Her tears drop low.
Dare not, nor fear,
shun water or night,
We'll drink by a river
divided in light.

I had to look up 'cerulean' in the dictionary. What a great word to put into your nighttime poem! I like the word, and the poem.
Good morning @scribblingramma! I'm glad you like the poem... It was definitely an off-the-cuff poem just to keep me writing. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
