Wow. And this, in a nation founded on separation of church and state, ringing with accusations from faithful followers of other religions that any expression of a particular faith facilitated via government offices violates that principle, enshrined in the Constitution, constant paring of such theocratic urges, and the incessant secularization of government.

Clearly, that separation was, is, and always will be utterly necessary to prevent government from becoming the church militant.
