Church Medical Mission

Hello there Steemians! The weather is cold and I am writing this post over a cup of hot native brewed coffee.
Last Sunday, August 5, 2019, our church, the City Evangelical Church (CCEC), recently conducted a medical mission which was sponsored by Beltway Park Medical Mission. It was headed by Dr. Len Tadvick as the team leader.
The recipients were from our outreach program especially the less fortunates.
General check ups were done as well as lab tests for blood sugar and eye care.

My daughter (white shirt) and my coach in boxing were our local nurse volunteers. I did the cooking too. I prepared vegetable lumpia, chopsuey, escabeche and pansit.
After check ups, the kids were given flip flops and multi vitamins, the elders were given love gifts too.

After all was done and settled, our church pastor expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Medical team.
The bad weather did not stopped us from fulfilling these noble cause. To God be the glory!
