I think you did the right thing! If people aren't going to use that SP then why give it to them, right? I know I was powering down my SP at first, but learned better... So now I'm trying to build up my SP from months of powering down... It'll get there though, because I'm working hard to create good blogs and help build it up faster! Keep on rockin', dude!
